Fast Installation of 2 PV Systems
We successfully completed the installation of two PV systems for Matic Building Services at its brand-new head office and logistics facility.
The Wigan site is the home of M&E contractor Matic and Domis Construction, who develop prestigious mixed-use developments in Manchester and across the country.
We installed two systems as part of the project, each with their own unique feed into the client’s infrastructure.
The Douglas House offices featured an 88.14kWp array utilising 156Nr 565W modules, an 80kW Solis PRO inverter and Van der Valk’s south-facing L10 ballasted mounting system.
Cable containment was via neat black lidded basket and inverters were located on a service level of the roof alongside the generation meter and isolator.
The Westgate House logistics centre featured a 155.31kWp array utilising 275Nr of the same modules with one NR 80kW Pro and 50kW Solis Inverters affixed via a Sflex trapezoidal mini rail mounting system.
The system spanned two elevations of sawtooth trapezoidal, with lidded basket running on the façade of the building to the inverters, located on the ground floor within a protected area of the main warehouse.
The system as a whole is expected to generate a total 212,546kWh of clean electricity per annum and were completed within a three-week build ensuring zero disruption to the client’s operational facility
