The Northern Hub programme was developed to increase capacity, line speed and connectivity throughout the North West of England. Blackburn’s King Street Depot is a brand new depot that has been introduced to assist in accommodating the additional rolling stock.
The project includes a 12-rotor brush e-wash™ CWM, e-vac™ automatic CET system, tanking water, fuel, oil, coolant and AdBlue storage and dispensing systems, hot & cold water points, sitewide M&E, telecoms, fire alarm, access control, CCTV and powerpoints.
